We always have big plans/dreams for the future, but some of these smaller projects that we do really help us to enjoy our home so much even when we don’t have the time or the budget to do the bigger renovations right away..

Here’s another picture of the garage before:.Basically, it was trashed.

We had no garage.. And here’s that same wall of the garage after:.This is obviously just an “in-progress” sneak peek, but basically Chris has now been able to start building an actually real workable workshop in there.I just went in there and snapped this picture while he was in the middle of organizing all of his tools.

So for $454.44 we got a whole garage!Here’s the basement before again:.

This picture doesn’t even really capture the disaster that was our basement.

How did we let this happen?You can see there’s still a bit of glue with some dirt and cat fur in it, but it’s starting to look a lot better!.

Here’s how it started out waaay back in October.. Now you can even see a bit of shine!Through all the dirt and cat fur, I mean.. Now don’t get me wrong.

I don’t want these floors to look all perfect and new.Just maybe a little less filthy dirty.
